I made an appointment with Dr. de Lotbiniere explore a surgical option for relieving my Trigeminal Neuralgia pain.  From my first phone call and interaction with his fantastic staff (at his White Plains office) to my first visit, I felt confident that I was on the right path for healing for me.  Dr. de Lotbiniere explained my condition in terms that I could easily understand and clearly laid out the pros and cons of all available surgical options for treatment.  I chose the most invasive option, Microvascular Decompression, and I am so happy I did.  It was an intense experience, but I felt well prepared for what it would entail. Now, I am just over three months post-surgery and happy to report that I am pain-free and med-free.   I have a whole new lease on life.  Thanks, Dr. de Lotbiniere!

I had the very good fortune to be referred to Dr. de Lotbiniere after suffering with facial pain for two and half years and going to numerous doctors seeking relief. He very patiently listened to my symptoms and my journey to dentists, endodontist, ENT’s, and oral surgeons. Dr. de Lotbiniere reviewed my previous MRI and immediately diagnosed my Trigeminal Neuralgia. He very clearly laid out my options for treatment and with his guidance I chose to undergo the micro vascular decompression surgery. The amazing attitude & atmosphere.  Completely sincere and Dr. de Lobiniere has LITERALLY TURNED my life around. We are & will be not only referring him but also White Plains Hospital. This was my 4th back surgery--1st with him & in that hospital. We live 3-hours from them...it is literally the place to go for a planned procedure.  My surgery was 11/17/23 & it was a big back surgery as there were mistakes from Syracuse, NY [Upstate Medical]. They were 2-surgeries there 10/18, 11/18 to fix the October one. Both n/g. I lived with it then my L2 went ...finally had to fix that + Dr. de Lobiniere corrected Syracuse's mistakes. The fabulous & confident attitude & explanations were spot on. From moment 1...White Plains Hospital personnel were terrific. Highly recommended. 

Dr de Lotbiniere came highly recommended by Medtronic to remove and correctly place a spinal cord stimulator that was implanted by a prior surgeon in the wrong location. He was thorough in his pre operative exams and extremely professional and experienced in this type of corrective spinal surgery. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch surgeon!

I suffer from trigeminal neurolgia I’ve seen many doctors who prescribed medication and procedures and nothing seemed to help. Then I found Dr. Lotbiniere who was able to help me be pain free with a procedure he recommended. It was instant relief. The experience with him and his entire staff was outstanding. 

To start the Dr greeted us directly in the waiting room. The most pleasant down to earth Dr ever 
Gave a full exam. Looked at my MRI results and gave me three possible treatments The fist two were only temporary fixes, plus my current was medication (which eventually will not work) The last option was surgery. He thought that was the best option for me. I was NEVER pushed to do anything from him. He has done over a thousand of these surgeries with 99.9% successful. Within two days I called him and went for the surgery. I’m now 6 weeks post op. I’m no longer on the meds and doing Outstanding!! 
This Dr IS a Top Gun surgeon!!! Plus he has a great personality and makes you feel at ease  I can’t say enough good he’s off the charts as being the best of the best !!!


I cannot find the right words to express my gratitude to Dr. De Lotbiniere! He saved my life after performing three very successful surgeries - inserting of a VP shunt, a craniotomy, and removal of the VP shunt. Prior to the surgeries, I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor called a meningioma. Now, nearly 2 years after the surgeries, I feel very strong and healthy. Thank you again, Dr. De Lotbiniere, for saving my life!  

I suffered terribly from Trigeminal pain.  I met with Dr. DeLotbiniere & he recommended the gamma knife procedure.  I had the procedure on a Thursday as an outpatient & came home the same day.  I was able to return to work the following Monday.  It is now 1 year later and I am pain free & feel great!  Thank you Dr. De Lotbiniere for allowing me to enjoy life again pain free.  

I suffered from severe sciatic symptoms for 7 months.  after carefully reviewing all my tests, he performed surgery making a small incision and using no hardware and i'm waling again with NO PAIN. This distinguished Neurosurgeon came so highly recommended, and we were relieved to be in such capable, competent care.   From the onset, He was patient, easy to understand, and answered all our questions in great detail.  We felt at ease from the inception of meeting Him.  Dr. de Lotbiniere performed a micro vascular decompression surgery in order to treat my Husband's painful trigeminal neuralgia.  The surgery went extremely well and appears to have provided relief for this very painful condition.  We are pleased to highly recommend Him.

Bedside manor is above reproach.  He fights for his patients.  I was to have surgery and the insurance company was dragging its feet and Dr. Delotbiniere personally got on the phone with the highest ranking medical person at Aetna and fixed it.  In less then a year my scars have faded to almost nothing.  I have recommended him to any and all that listen. 

During my first consult with Dr Lotbiniere  he spent much time patiently explaining my issues and what options were available to rectify them. He presented all options in a calm and reassuring manor and gave me his recommendation while allowing me time to decide . The operation was a complete success and during recovery he and his staff were prompt in answering all my questions .

AS ALWAYS, THE DOCTOR WAS VERY EASY TO VISIT AND DISCUSS THROUGHLY ALLMY QUESTIONS WHILE EXPLAINING THINGS IN A LANGUAGE UNDERSTANDABLE TO APATIENT. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING HIS SERVICES.

I have experienced extreme headaches for over 40 years.  I have been to many doctors and have had all kinds of treatments and have been on all kinds of medications.  Nothing worked.  I finally found Dr. de Lotbiniere.  He suggested that I try a stimulator.  It was a two-part process.  First, Dr. de Lotbiniere inserted two leads in my face which were controlled by an external device.  I could control the external devices intensity.  It worked.  So, for step two another operation.  This time the leads were placed in my face and an internal device was added in my chest area.  I am able to control the intensity of the stimulator with a Medtronic controller.  It is wonderful.  The device that Dr. de Lotiniere used is really meant for the spine; however, he was smart enough to try this for the face.  Hopefully, in the future the leads can be made smaller for the face.  I have only praise for Dr. de Lotbiniere!

I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis two years ago.  After exhausting alternative remedies (physical therapy, pain medication) I finally accepted my primary physician’s recommendation that I submit to back surgery.  I have never had any surgery before, and had never spent a night in a hospital, so I was extremely apprehensive.  I met with several different surgeons who were recommended by friends and colleagues who had experienced similar physical problems, and chose to have Dr. deLotbiniere perform the surgery in August, 2022.  After suffering from debilitating back pain for over two years, I am finally pain free. Dr. deLotbiniere is patient, kind, caring, highly experienced,  and generous with his time. He reviewed my radiographic studies with me and carefully explained the entire process in detail.  Now, 2 1/2bmonths post surgery and with eight weeks of physical therapy twice a week, I no longer have back pain.  I would highly recommend Dr. deLotbiniere.

Gamma knife surgery performed for trigeminal neuralgia...relief.  Very pleased with results for an extremely painful condition for which medication had to be increased over 5 years with ultimate side effects.
