This man is horrible, I won't even call him a doctor, he made me almost blind in one eye and my life will never be the same. And he could care less. Never called to see if I was ok. He did 3 surgeries before I finally smartened up and went to someone else. But unfortunately for me, it was too late. He already did his damage. He never talked to me about the risks but of course he covered his butt and wrote it down that he told me everything, but we both know that was a lie. One day God will give him what he deserves. 

Today is Friday after Thanksgiving. I did a review below this one for Weds, when Dr. Wisotsky fit me in on a holiday eve when I had an emergency retina tear. Pleas see that review below. 

Dr. W. came in Friday am just for me. At 8 am the Dr arrived and opened his practice JUST TO SEE AND TREAT ME!! I cannot thank this man enough for doing that. I didnt ask him to, he just has that care and work ethic in him. My wife and daughter were with me, and Dr. W. was very personal, professional, and explained everything in detail giving my wife and I all the time to ask questions and have concerns answered. 
The Dr. went right to work examining his work from Weds. Cryotherapy and a gas bubble, i.e. vitrectomy. He said everything looked perfect, so we were able to proceed with the laser. The Dr assured me this would not be as intrusive as Weds work and he was right. After numbing my eye he went right to work with the laser. In a short time we were done. I am very grateful to this man & staff. 

Zero stars-MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE EVER, BRUTALIZED MY 92 year old mom causing her to have emergency surgery to remove her eyeball due to his barberic treatment!!
I have watched my mom get eye injections before but this man harpooned her eye which led to
Horrific screams and moans, Blood spurting from her eye , NO EMERGENCY PROTOCOL WENT INTO PLAY, no vitals taken!
Dr Wisotsky  Informs me, after I had passed,  that my mom will loose her eye and the best hospital for this is Morristown and that I SHOULD NOT call for an ambulance but drive her there myself!!! INSANE!!! No vitals taken, nobody called 911, and MoTown was the wrong hospital, they do not even do this surgery!!!
Thankfully she was transported BY AMBULANCE  from MoTown to University Hospital in Newark where they safely removed her eye and received top knotch care!!!!
Please join me by reaching out to the medical board if you have had a bad experience and have his license removed so he cannot harm anyone else!!!!

Dr. Wisotsky was dismissive and rushed. He made us feel like we were wasting his time by being there. He told us the next time a doctor wants to send my son to get the speck in his eye checked that he should tell them he has a chirpee and not to worry about it. We will not be going back.

Students playing Doctors. My student suggested double cataract surgery right away. Cataracts are just beginning. Dr. Wisotsky fly’s into the exam room for the most two minutes. Has the feel of a well oiled assembly line business. Doctor has me take additional tests and never discusses results. Been there many years. Time to make a change!

I am not going back to that guy again he made my eye so bad it was better before Stay Away

I woke up one morning experiencing Double Vision. My world changed. I couldn't drive. I went to NYC's top doctors. I had cat scans, mri's, went to ent's and ophthalmologists .. None of the doctors I saw had a clue. My sister has one good eye and in the past, Dr. Wisotsky at Omni Eye Specialists did an operation on her for a detached retina, saving her vision. She recommended Dr. Wisotsky. He was extremely professional. He  diagnosed my condition as 4th nerve palsy. I finally had an answer.

I find that a thing as such as your eyes and the effect it has on your life style is one of the most important thing of your of your life style..It may be routine to many doctors and the way they treat it as normal routine is demeaning to those with the problem. I'm still living with my eye operation and hoping that it will recover   with professional treatment I am getting at the NY hospital . I regret not going there in the first place. Maybe a review of your operation is needed TNX

I narrate my experience.

I am a Kidney failure patient. One day few hours after dialysis, I saw black dots in my right vision. I was referred to Dr.Wisotsky by my eye doctor. Dr.Wisotsky did lasers, then scar tissue treatment, cataract for both eyes and finally kept silicon oil on my right eye for retina detachment.

After all this, I got tunnel vision, which was 70 - 80% earlier. He is good doctor, I feel I am not lucky. Later removed the oil in Yale medical centre. Hope I get my vision back.


Dr. Wisotsky took away my natural lens during the retinal detachment surgery, but he lied to me that I developed an acute cataract after the surgery. I didn't find out until I saw other doctors. The new doctors told me that my crystalline lens was taken away, and therefore I didn't have a cataract. They wrote "Aphakia" (absence of lens) in my medical records. And the ultrasound images also showed no lens present in my injured eye. Omni eye services  even tried to charge me $1600  for laser removal of the cloudy lens, saying laser is not covered by the insurance. But in fact, my lens was already removed by Dr. Wisotsky. When I mentioned about seeing other cataract surgeons, Dr. Wisotsky discouraged me from seeing them, and said ONLY his colleague Dr. Grayson could do my surgery. Ironically, I never met Dr. Grayson during my entire time at Omni. But my "cataract" surgery date was scheduled. Thank God I got a second opinion before that. Dr. Wisotsky fudged my medical records to fit his own version of stories, and to cover up his wrongdoings. The worst physician and eye services (Omni) I have ever seen in my life!

It doesn't seem to matter what time of day you schedule.  Your appointment drags on 1 2 3 hrs .then you only see Dr for 5 mins. Horrendous experiences!!!!! Shame on me for not finding another Dr years ago. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOUR LOOKING TO SPEND A CHUNK OF YOUR DAY SITTING AND WAITING

No he misdiagnosed my macular hole, causing me to be practically blind in one eye.



The whole staff was dismissive. I work in healthcare and was shocked to see the lack of care. It looks like everyone hates their job here. The doctor comes in at the end rushing. Im sure they do take their time with billing though $$

Don’t trust this doctor with your eyes. He messed up a simple injection that my previous drs successfully performed. The staff are neglectful and dr will rush your appointment. Don’t expect call backs with urgent matters.

I left feeling thrown back without words. The young doctor/intern was not patient at all with my elderly relative.  He was forceful when the pacient couldn’t open their own eyes after a serious of bothersome drops including dye! He was in such a hurry that gaining her confidence and reassuring everything is ok wasn’t important. And yes we waited in spite setting appointment and pre-online registration. 

I cannot agree enough with others who have noticed Dr Wisotsky’s lack of caring. I will add that he has a very condescending manner as well. After his student did most of the work (I agree with others who have noticed this as well) Dr Wisotsky’s burst into the office and did a quick exam on my father. He was about to leave when I asked a question about the surgical results my father was experiencing and he answered in medical numbers and terminology. He also appeared very irritated and rushed. 

Dr. Witosotky  uses optometry  students to make diagnoses. I knew something was wrong as I had been there the previous week to see the glaucoma specialist.. The "residents" and "interns" are not MDs, they are OD students., I called the next day I was not allowed to make another appointment to speak to Burton. His office manager then told me I had macular degeneration and there was nothing I could do about it.. So wrong, Unethical. Broke me since I have glaucoma. Saw another great retina MD.
