Dr. Esther Mondo, MD

Dr. Mondo is the best medical oncologist I've seen- without question. I am a young person with advanced cancer and Dr. Mondo has always given me excellent care. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has mastered how to translate that knowledge into something I can understand. I appreciate the fact that her recommendations are always evidence-based (as opposed to some of the older MD's I've seen who fail to keep up-to-date on the newest research), and she always takes the time to answer my questions and concerns. One time, I called her office around 5:00 pm frantic about my imaging results and she personally called me later that evening and spent a solid 30 minutes explaining my results and how they would affect my treatment.  Simply put - she's the best.  Thank you, Dr. Mondo. 



I would highly recommend Dr Mondo. She uses up to date proven research in cancer treatment and is very good at explaining protocols. I am grateful to be her patient.

Between her horrendous bedside manner and Banner “Healthcare’s” inadequate ability to provide quality care, I will never return to this office. It’s not necessary for you to waste a specialist copay to find this out for yourself. Trust me. 

Dr. Mondo is extremely rushed in her approach. She orders tests but does not read them until she is walking in the room for your appointment, leaving her little time to interpret them or come up with a plan of action. It's frustrating when you have to wait so long to see her again, especially when you are very ill. Many times, important issues have been overlooked and she is disconnected when it comes to discussing the subject of living with cancer, being on chemo, dealing with side effects and the challenges it brings to daily life. To a cancer patient, every day matters.

Frustrating & disappointed.   I will look for another Doctor!
