This was my first visit and I was very pleased with Dr. U. I left feeling hopeful and look forward to continuing to work with her.

I needed a psychiatrist to give me an evaluation for a court judgement however, the doctor that I saw wants to make an additional appointment to make a more complete conclusion.
Overall, I thought Dr. U (as she preferred to be called) is a good psychiatrist.  She asks pertinent questions that seem to apply to the situation and does not try to be a someone who controls your response.

The decor when you walk into the office was very welcoming and soothing. The doctor was very kind and listened well to everything I had to say. It was a very pleasant experience.

I’ve had a few psychiatrists over the past 11 years and  Dr. Uyanwune is the absolute best, bar none. 1000/10 would recommend. Her main selling point  is her individualized plus a dedication and preciseness to ensure that we can achieve  ?the best possible results. I’ve never had ANY Doc be so invested in my health, and I’ve seen A LOT of doctors over the years. 

In addition to going above and beyond for her patients, she’s prompt, friendly, communicative, has a great  office staff, incredibly detailed orientated, and more.

Dr. Munachim gets it. From her excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what next steps look like.

Dr. U really listens to you and your experience. She takes time to learn about your past experiences to come up with good solutions. She thoroughly answered questions I had. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. U took one of the most detailed histories I’ve ever had. She listened to me and validated the experiences I’ve had that contribute to my mental health. She was extremely knowledgeable about the medicine she prescribed and how it would effect me. She didn’t just whip out her pad and prescribe any old drug like experiences I’ve had in the past

Dr. U is amazing. I had the privilege of her care on a telehealth platform. When she decided to start her own practice I wanted to follow her. I live quite a distance from her practice but don't mind driving in order to be under her care. I feel she genuinely cares about me and my mental health. Once I contacted her office and left a message inquiring about scheduling an appointment, her staff returned my call almost immediately. Further, they got me scheduled with her quickly.

MIU is a warm and welcoming office and Dr. Uyanwune is a stellar psychiatrist and physician!

she addressed all my concerns and was very easy to talk to. I've heard many stories of psychiatrists being cold because 'their job is to prescribe you medicine not listen to your problems' but I didn't feel that with her at all. would totally recommend if this is your first psychiatrist or if you're nervous.
