Dr. Jay Stern, MD

I myself had a bad experience with him, I had to go in for some pre-op testing this week and I had blood work done and I had to get an EKG, and leave urine, after I did all that the nurse told me to sit back in the waiting room for a few minutes, after waiting an hour my ride called me and said she had to leave in a half hour because she also had an appointment she couldn't miss, so I told them that I will have to leave in about 30 minutes and can they please see what else needs to be done today and how long it will be before Dr. Stern can see me? and after 10 more minutes, I tried again, I asked them if they could please let Dr. Stern know that I will have to be leaving in about 20 minutes, what is going on and why is it taking so long, well I tried this over and over with no success untell my ride was gonna leave me and I couldn't wait any longer. when I  was leaving I asked them if they could please have Dr. Stern call me when he isn't too busy. when I got home I called them, and they said because I left they are going to throw all my blood work and tests in the trash and that Dr. Stern won't ever see me again! again well hell he never saw me to begin with and I was there for an hour and 45 minutes! and they did exactly that! they threw all my tests and blood work in the trash, and I'm not even gonna get into how rude the supervisor Loren was to me. I will be reporting them to the American Medical Association, and trust me I'm not the only one that has had problems with (J Richar Lilly and Associates), in my whole life I have never dealt with a doctor that is as rude and unprofessional as Dr. Stern and That Supervisor Loren.

Dr. Stern has talked to me in a professional manner about my health. Has given very definite goals to maintain my health as a 62 yr old woman.
Has been patient to explain things I did not understand. He explained the levels of skin cancer, which I have been treated for at a dermatologist.
In my interactions with him he is very knowledgeable in many areas of health.

this man dont care if you live or die all he wants is money  want to see you every month so he can steal money  too me off auto refill  I use to see the doctor who owns this office he works in for  every three months for 54 years he is no longer in office so they gave me this theif  I am so upset  I am on copd med s needed to breath and heart meds  called office on  fri a month after I seen him he did not refill my meds called sat they said wait til Monday he want my money every month  thats not happening very bad doctor  rather see you die than help you DO NOT USE THIS GUY   

New PCP for me. Good doc. Takes his time to understand you and your issues  -  so rare in our FU  medical system. I’m forced to live with life changing issues of a bad accident that landed me on the roof of the UofM Shock Trauma. He understood and was happy to help. 

Dr. Stern is an excellent diagnostician. He always took the time to explain the condition to me, and to make sure I understood the condition and the treatment plan. He was always professional and pleasant. Most importantly, he respects his patients.
