Dr. John Kalis, MD

Dr Kalis was fantastic, took the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable before moving on. I had a form of skin cancer 

Although a fine, skilled physician, the wait time and over booking is a nightmare. Wait times are usually long past your appointment time. Scheduling 2 patients for the same time is just poor management. The other physician I have used is wonderful and on time. However, she does not do spider vein sclerotherapy. If you are willing to wait, the care is excellent. Bring lunch and dinner and a great book if you decide to wait.

Awesome doctor. Know his stuff and really cares about his patients. I had a question pretty unrelated to dermatology and he spent 10 minutes extra with me looking at medical journals trying to answer my question (it was about side effects of a certain medicine). I have been seeing him for 5 years and they always seem to fit me in at the end of the day for an appointment. Not sure how they do it, but they always do. He is my favorite doctor and I love the office staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kalis's for several years.  IF you can get in to see him, he is very good.  Getting someone to answer the phone is next to impossible.  You have to leave a message and then wait/hope for a call back.  Once you do, you won't get an appointment for a least ten days of longer, regardless of how urgent the medical issue is.  I am planning on seeking a different doctor with a more efficient and patient-friendly office staff.

Dr. Kalis was very thorough, he explained everything in detail and was very clear in outlining a step by step approach to my problem. 

Very professional and took time to discuss issues.  Would highly recommend!

Much too long of a wait this time.  I like Dr. Kalis but my skin condition has not been resolved over a long period of time.

The visit went by very efficiently. Dr. Kalis is very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He gave me a good treatment plan. Overall, the visit was great and I would definitely recommend him!
