Dr. Kenneth Montgomery, MD

Dr. Montgomery treated my son for an arm injury and went on to perform surgery.  His arm was worse than when he started and the do's response was yea, this happens.  He had no accountability for the errors that resulted in a second surgery for more significant damage within just a few months of the first surgery that was supposed to fix it.  He lacks knowledge and skills to successfully treat his patients.  I would not recommend him. Every visit it was like he was meeting my son for the first time, asking him if he was an athlete, what sport he played, what surgery did he have.  Professionally he should look at the chart before walking in the room.  Awful experience.  

When you find the right doctor, you just know. Dr. Montgomery did my son’s ACL reconstruction on his left knee. He was great, caring, patient, knowledgeable, personable, great listener and empathetic to my son’s needs and concerns. Our overall experience was very pleasant from the beginning to the end. Thank you Dr. Montgomery … to you and your entire team staff!!!

Dr Montgomery was super helpful and caring. My rehab took 8 months and I’ve never been happier to be back to playing sports. Dr. Montgomery did surgery on our son's knee, my husband's hand ganglion, and my knee two years ago. All surgical procedures were successful. He is a wonderful doctor, we always recommend him.

I had a very nasty injury due to an accident,  my upper arm bone was shuttered into 5 pieces. The surgery was complicated as the shards of the arm and shoulder needed to be put together and replacement needed to be tight in order to make me functional again.  Besides being stellar surgeon, Dr Montgomery is a very pleasant person, he encourages patients in their prey dark hour, spends time explaining what the situation is, what is to be done, outcomes, likelihoods. He is very attentive, good listener, optimistic, humorous, and helps patients to maintain good spirit. He has excellent team of assistants who did a superb job closing me up and providing post-surgery care.  As of now I am able to use my arm and able to lift up to 12 lb of weight, and will be able to go up to 25. I regain ability to swim, bike, kayak, and ski. I highly recommend Dr Montgomery and his team.

There are many factors one must evaluate when selecting a doctor. They are the doctor's knowledge , skill , the ability to communicate with their patient and a pleasant respectful bedside manner. Dr Montgomery checks all the boxes. I  would  highly  recommend Dr. Montgomery if you have any orthopedic issues. The entire staff from receptionist to physicians are helpful and professional. If I or anyone in my family need the services of an orthopedist , we will go back to Tri County for treatment.

Dr. Montogmery is an absolute artist. He has performed extensive repairs on both my shoulders, each of which had extensive repairs done in the past. I have been amazed at how much easier these last two surgeries have been to recover from than my earlier surgeries were, despite the fact that both shoulders had had extensive surgeries before he operated on them. Physical therapy has been a breeze. My shoulders move so easily--it feels like he lubricated them while he was in there!

Was having problems with my shoulder. Dr. Montgomery tried cortisone shot. That helped for a couple of months. When I returned he then did a MRI which showed a several tears which were caused MBA bone spurs. 
He scoped the shoulder and had me back playing golf in 4 months. You can't even see the marks. Excellent surgeon and had a great bedside manner. Explained everything. 

I was very satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Montgomery for my knee issue and would recommend his services to those looking for an Orthopedic surgeon.  He is friendly,  straightforward and most importantly a very skilled surgeon based on my experience with him.

His credentials and skill set are beyond question.  His demeanor is noteworthy, as his confidence has had a calming effect when I was beyond upset.  He took the time necessary to help me understand the tests, procedure, and likely outcome.  On more than one occasion Ken Montgomery diagnosed me accurately, informed me completely, and performed the necessary procedure flawlessly.   

Had suffered a lot of damage on right shoulder rotator cuff.  Seen by Dr. Montgomery and scheduled surgery.  He classified damage and reconstruction as massive.  During surgery, right biceps tendon was also found to be torn.  Started physical therapy 2 weeks after surgery and now a little after 6 months I am doing extremely well.  Advised healing process will continue for about another year due to the amount of damage I had, but no more pain and almost 95% range of motion.

Dr. Montgomery has performed surgical repairs on my shoulder and various repairs on my wife and children.  He is attentive, a superb, technically proficient surgeon and has excellent customer relationship skills.  

I had a simple fall which resulted in my needing a complicated Left shoulder repair. In short, the man and his staff saved my career. As the owner of a business in the Automotive aftermarket I spend a lot of my day doing physical activities which require dexterity and strength, this would not have been possible without the professionalism of Dr. Montgomery's team. His PA Chi's guidance through the recovery was instrumental to my recovery which has been fantastic. Thanks for a great experience. 

Dr. Montgomery is a consummate professional. He explained everything that would happen during my distal biceps surgery, and why it had to be done. I felt totally confident in his ability as a surgeon, and his work didn't disappoint. The wounds have healed beautifully, and he has been fully supportive during my entire rehabilitative period.

I went to Dr. Montgomery for a partially torn rotator cuff and shoulder impingement that had been ongoing for 6 months. I had been to two other orthopedic surgeons who both suggested surgery, but I wanted a third opinion and am SO glad I ended up with Dr. Montgomery. Not only is he incredibly knowlegable, but he has amazing bedside manner. He is NOT recommending surgery at this time and my shoulder is healing with cortisone shots and physical therapy. I can't say enough good things about him.

Dr Montgomery has a wonderful demeanor. He explained everything in terms I could understand. He took his time and answers all my questions fully. My surgery was a success and I am recovering fine. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Montgomery's expertise, experience and approachable demeanor. He performed rotator cuff and biceps tendon repair surgery on my right shoulder and arm. Upon commencing the surgery, he found the damage more extensive than the MRI revealed. However, he knew exactly how to approach my injuries and I could tell that he was able to do all that needed to be done during the operation to ensure the best result for me. If I ever injure myself again, I know who I trust to help

Dr. Montgomery's personality, knowledge, skill and explanation of injuries and treatments immediately instills confidence and trust. Twice in my life I have needed to see Him for surgeries. Each time from pre-op to recovery has been exceptional. If you are searching for an incredible surgeon...you have found him.

This Dr. Operated on me and made me worse than before! I regret ever setting foot in tri county. He was very pompous, and condescending. Did not listen to any of my concerns. Finally got mad at me for his procedure not working! Misdiagnosed. His staff was also very rude. Please be very careful in agreeing to let him operate on you! He will convince you it is your last hope and you have no choice. Stay away.

I went to see Dr. Montgomery as a 3rd opinion about my osteochondral defect.  He explained the injury to me and told me I needed an OATS procedure done on my knee to prolong a knee replacement.  He was extremely calm, comforting and confident, We are now 4 months post surgery, and my ROM is just as good as my other knee and I am able to return to low impact exercises. Dr Montgomery and his team were very equipped, friendly, professional, and had great bedside manor.  I highly recommend him!
