Dr. Marisa Potter, MD

Arrived to Marissa potters aventura office 10 minutes early for an appointment. Waited a fullHour wasn’t seen by the doctor. Wasn’t even given a single update or apology. Extremely unprofessional and it truly saddens me to write this because me and my whole family have been going here for quite some time. Biggest waste of time.

I highly recommend Dr. Potter ! I have been a patient for over six years. She is caring , talented and very dedicated to her patients.

I was referred by my pediatrician to visit a Dermatology “Specialist”, to review a little bump my baby’s back that had developed.   Upon arrival, the specialist, Mrs. Potter’s first impression when she saw the little bump was “what is this?  I’ve never seen anything like it” … She suggested to do additional tests including a BIOPSY.  As you can imagine as a new parent of a little baby to hear something like this, after a long sleepless night, I felt all these uneasy emotions.…  Thank God, the following day I wanted to get a second opinion, so I took the baby to another dermatologist and within in two (2) seconds by looking at the little bump said:  “This is simply an infected cyst and needs to be drained right away…  I decided to take this Doctor’s advice and within five (5) minutes, the Doctor drained the cyst and disinfected it…   Just one question from this experience …  HOW IN THE WORLD, can a so called ‘dermatologist’ never mention that this was a cyst...

I did not have a great experience with Dr Potter as she couldn’t reach a diagnose after 4 visits and just prescribed 4 different cortisone creams every time that did nothing but worsen my condition. She could have done a biopsy early on to determine what I had. Very unsatisfying experience.

A consummate professional! After seeing such high reviews, I had to see for myself and found she lives up to every one of them. I highly recommend her.

I had cosmetic fillers done for the first time with Dr. Potter. My face with showing aging in my cheeks and lower face. The results are amazing and beyond what I ever imagined. She was very caring and gentle. She smiled the whole time which shows how much she loves what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for cosmetic work or a dermatologist.

My experience with Dr. Potter proved to be both painless and the results were fantastic. She's a perfectionist in her work as she works cautiously and carefully.

Our family had to find a new dermatologist since ours closed their office. We decided to try Dr. Potter. Luckily, there is an option to schedule online, because no one answers the phone. The front desk and nurses do not seem to enjoy working there. We never saw a smile. The annual check-up was good and thorough. Once I received my two prescriptions from the pharmacy, it was unclear what they were for since the directions were exactly the same. I called, and finally the front desk answered, saying that someone would call me later today. Since then, I have tried to call every single day, and no one picks up. I'm supposed to come back in a few weeks to see the progress, but if I can't use the prescriptions, what is the point of returning to the office?

Dr. Potter didn't rush through my visit and took the time to answer all of my questions. She seems very knowledgeable and caring. I'm so glad I found her in her new office (which is really nice)!

 I just had filler put on the sides of my mouth and around my lips and I'm so thrilled with how it came out. Dr. Potter has a wonderful bedside manner and a very gentle hand. I very highly recommend her.
