Dr. Matthew Duke, DO

I have been a patient for over 12 years and trust him to provide the highest quality service.  I have and will recommend him because of his high level of care, concern and knowledge.

I absolutely love Dr.Duke but recently he's been impossible to get an appointment with.Because of past health issues Dr Duke decided he wanted to see me monthly instead of every 3 months which i agreed to do.So far I've yet to see him for the past 4 or 5 months.Instead I've seen his PA once.The office has cancelled appointments and rescheduled them at least a month later. This past Friday i had an appointment but because i had a cold they cancelled my appointment and made me get a covid test.I had the covid test and it was negative so i called this morning to reschedule my appointment and was told that they couldn't get me in for another 2 weeks.At this point I'm frustrated and am considering changing doctors.

I really liked Dr. Duke. I thought he spent quality time with me and addressed every question I had. I felt that he was compassionate, and a very good communicator! I felt very safe with his knowledge if there were ever a medical problem to arise with me in the future. Pat R

Where do I begin?  When I called for a birth control refill (pap done last month)  Was told that the practice no longer has someone to service GYN needs and that I needed to find another provider.  They were "gracious" to refill for one month.  Really?  No referral on where to go.  Nada, Nothing but bye bye.

Previously refilled my anti-anxiety meds with the WRONG med.  You need to call every month or 3 months to get chronic Rxs filled like thyroid and BP medication....the list goes on and on.

Gave him a  star because I cannot give him any lower and submit a review. He cannot diagnose sepsis, refill a script or refer. Are we sure he is actually a DO?

Dr. Duke is well prepared and engaged with what the patient is saying and his/her needs. 
He is thorough and understands the proper protocols of treatment. He's youthful but yet well-experienced and has a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend him to be your family physician. 

Would give this doctor a minus 10.  Your life could be in danger due to his lack of professionalism and treatment.  Be ware.

I liked the practice more when Dr. James R. Kinney Sr., DO was there daily. I will say Dr. Duke is pleasant and will answer question, but things take a very long time to try and get answered and then it ends up being several visits and you may or may not actually get the help you need. 
Nick the Office manager is awesome and usually gets things done within his power. Rachel is a total nightmare and those are the kindess thing I can say.



I went to Dr.Duke after having what I thought was food poisoning that wouldn't go away.  He ordered labs that took, seemingly, forever.  Then, he ordered new labs without letting me know what was wrong.  After days of not being able to eat and being violently ill, I gave up and I went to the ER.  They told me I had an intestinal parasite, within a couple of hours, and an ectopic pregnancy.  If I had waited for Dr. Duke, I would have died.  I lost my baby and a Fallopian tube. 

This guy is the worst! I went to him for help and received nothing. I am in terrible pain from a well documented spinal cord injury and Dr Duke knew I could not walk or stand without severe pain. He said he would look into it and I never heard from him again. Don't go to Dr Duke's office, he is not a good Doctor!!!!!!!! I gave him one star because there is nothing lower.

One of the most caring doctors I have been to.  Dr. Duke always goes out of his way to accommodate me.  He will fit you in whenever needed no questions asked.  He is very caring and compassionate.

I had concerns regarding this office's policy to require appointments to be made every three months, and quoting: "if you do not see us every three months, we will not refill your prescriptions".
Subsequently, I contacted both my health care insurance company and Medicare who each advised that this policy is not enforced by either.
Let it also be known that i am a diabetic with an A1C of 5.7 (very low and in control) and get tested frequently at quest. There are no other outstanding issues which require such an aggressive policy.  
As a result, i terminated their services immediately.
No, I would NOT recommend this office to anyone unless they are in need of such a comprehensive policy.


Have always had a good experience with dr. Duke he's very caring doctor
