Dr. Mohammad Miran

My appointment was for a dental device for sleep apnea.   I waited for approximately 30 minutes to be seen.   However, the fitting went well.   Dr. Miran is extremely friendly and explained everytyhing well.

I had two previous in-lab sleep studies done over the past several years before I moved to this area and became a patient of Dr. Miran. At my first visit, I had to sit in the waiting room over an hour and a half before I was taken to another room where I waited another half hour before seeing Dr. Miran. When he finally entered the room, he rushed through my consultation like no doctor I have ever met. If I tried speaking, he cut me off, so I never even had a chance to give him pertinent information about my past sleep studies or ask any questions. After I underwent a sleep study in the adjoining lab, I had to wait 17 days before he would see me for a follow up visit and give me or my referring doctor the results. He was completely rude and disrespectful of my time. If I had known any of this, I would have chosen a different doctor. 

Dr. Miran is very attentive and helpful.  I have been a patient here for approximately 3 years.

Extremely long wait in the Hagerstown office for my initial visit. After waiting more than 90 minutes, I was rushed through my consultation with the doctor, worse than any doctor visit I have ever experienced. I could not get a word in. I was pleased with the facility where my study was conducted. My assigned room in the lab was spacious and more like a hotel room than a hospital setting (which I had in previous studies). The associate at the sleep lab was very professional and made me feel comfortable. It took a long time to get my follow up appointment with Dr Miran to go over the sleep study results. Also, he  would not provide my referring doctor with data from my study until after my follow up appointment. It has now been over 2 months since my sleep study and I am still waiting to get an appointment with the medical equipment company where Dr Miran sent my CPAP prescription so I can begin treatment for my severe sleep apnea.
