Dr. Robin Davis

She didn’t tell me I had symptoms of something because they didn’t have the tests for that at the office. She could have said, “You might have _____ but we don’t have tests for that, so you can go to this place to do a test.” Instead she did an unnecessary test to rule out something else, I took unnecessary antibiotics “just in case,” I went back, and then when I suggested I might have what I have, she said that I could have that - that’s when she told me they hadn’t had the tests for that.

She is a warm, efficient doctor who is very thorough when assessing her patients. I appreciate her care.

Very thorough and listened to my concerns.  I didn’t feel rushed, she took her time with me.  I would highly recommend her.  

Dr. Robin Davis is very personable and spends enough time with her patients to ensure she has a great handle on any health, personal, or other issues that may affect a patient's health and quality of life.  She is easy to talk with and always answers questions asked completely.  This is my 3rd annual check-up with Dr. Davis and she spends as much time as needed to ensure a complete and thorough annual physical.  

I felt cared about and listened to. Dr. Davis inspired trust. If I do get actual sick, I will feel confident turning to her.

She is patient and kind.  She takes her time during your visit. highly recommend!

Dr. Davis was professional, courtesy and prompt. Nurse Lisa was also exceptional. I was seen on time and the facilities were clean and taking CV19 measures. The check in and out nurses were also professional and proficient. 

I loved the experience she was calm and patient and answered all quested with knowledge and ease in regards to my issues 

I came into Dr. Davis suffering from numbness and tingling on the left side of my body.  She did not rush me, she asked numerous questions and took her time to see what was going on.

Dr. Davis takes her time and is very knowledgeable.

Dr Davis is the best!  I moved away for over a year and decided to come back home to DC. Upon changing insurances and setting up new doctors, I was blessed to gain access again with Dr. Davis as my general practitioner through my insurance. When she step into the room and saw me, she had immediately remembered me..what a WOW!  I have the best health expertise in the business. 

Very good experience. Dr. Davis did a excellent job of diagnosing my ailment.  Even prescribed medication to aid any possible infection. I would definitely recommend Dr. Robin Davis.

Made me very comfortable for my physical. When she asked me questions, she listened carefully. When I had questions, she clarified and answered patiently. 

I really did not like that I brought up about my condition with my right thumb and she ignore my concern.

My first appointment- The front desk/nursing staff were so accommodating and friendly, overall an inviting atmosphere. I went in for my annual physical and Dr. Davis did a very thorough review and had a very calming, non-judgemental bedside manner. The entire process was straightforward and extremely low-stress!

Dr. Davis is excellent. She is able oversee all of my medical needs and provide great recommendations. She is also very reliable to approve and call-in refills.

My visit with Dr. Robin Davis was very satisfying it is very hard to find a Doctor that will take the time to listen to your health issues.  Outside of being highly qualified, Dr. Davis has a graceful bedside manner, she takes the time to really listen to her patients and that is greatly appreciated. 

This was my second appointment with Dr. Davis. The first time was OK, although the office billed the visit incorrectly, and it took several months to resolve the issue with my insurance company. This visit left me really unsatisfied. I had a series of issues and I was looking for some guidance as to what may be causing them. I had blood work done, at Dr. Davis' request, and the results were mailed to me without much of an explanation. From what I gathered, the results were considered normal. But I never heard from Dr. Davis. There was no follow up, no discussion of the results, no information about how to cope with the issues I am having and no further looking into what could be causing this. Overall I just felt as though she did not truly care about diagnosing the issue, especially after I waited more than an hour for my appointment. I just want to find a doctor who listens and cares. I didn't get that from her. 

I highly respect and admire Dr. Davis for her professionalism and the medical care she provides to me.

I had no problems when I got there. Before I could sit down I was called to the back to the room. Dr. Davis and her staff was very professional and courtesy as always. 

No wait, pleasant doctor that's easy to talk to. Unable to resolve issue so she referred me to a neurologist but I was out of this appointment in less than 30 minutes.

Dr. Davis was great! This was my first visit to her and she made me feel very comfortable. She listened very attentively and made excellent recommendations paired with a light medicine regimen that will fix a couple of slight health issues. I've had a hard time finding a good doctor in DC. I've gone into offices where I felt rushed and where the doctor doesn't seem to take interest in you and your personal health. Dr. Davis is different. She's patient, listens carefully to the patient, and makes sure that all of your concerns are voiced. I would highly recommend her.  

Dr. Davis listened to my concerns and provided thorough advice. I had a laundry list of things that I wanted examined or looked into and she took her time. She was kind and patient. The nurse was really nice and informative. There wasn't much of a wait and the doctor was really nice. I highly recommend this doctor, she was very  helpful in providing referrals and explaining what was going on in my body.

My wait was very quick, and I really felt that I was listened to and that Dr. Davis cared.  I found her on ZocDoc, and will continue to use her as my PCP.

Profession, personable, clear in communication and recommendations. 

In the past, I have felt very uncomfortable with being honest and upfront with female doctors. However, Dr. Davis was very professional and I felt like I wasn't being judged or condemned by being completely transparent with her. She definitely continue to be my primary care doctor.

She was attentive to my responses to her questions, and she was firm in her directions.  Overall, a very positive experience.  I would recommend her others.

It was excellent but Mrs. Davis has not yet sent me my test blood result.

Went in for a first appointment, no wait time, although I was running late for my appointment, she gave me a ton of time getting to know my background as well as taking a full history. Very supportive, understanding, non-judgmental. I look forward to making her my primary care doctor!  Great doctor.
The office staff was very pleasant as well and that is hard to find today.

They already had my forms/info printed out so no need to sit there and do extra paperwork. I waited maybe 5 minutes max before I was seen. Dr. Davis was nice and thorough. The most efficient and stress free visit I've had in a long time. 

I know my own body & what I do & don't need... I felt like I was being persuaded to stop what meds I was taking & like I was being looked down upon.

Dr. Davis was not only incredibly professional, but she was also easy to talk to about what I've been experiencing. Her questions were easy to follow, and she was an excellent listener as I explained how I was feeling as well as my medical history. Doctor Davis exceeded any expectations that I had prior to my visit. This was my first time at MedStar Medical Group as well and I am very impressed with the courtesy, timeliness and respect displayed by the staff. Additionally, MedStar is using innovative technologies that I didn't even realize were possible for communications and the overall healthcare experience. 5 Stars all around from me!

My visit with Dr. Robin Davis, MD was excellent.  She was very patient.  She had answer all the questions that I had ask her.  She gave me her response on her form and sent one to my doctor as well.  

Overall very pleasant. She addressed my concerns and was very helpful. I definitely recommend her. 

This was a first visit to the Dr. in 2 years.  She was very patient with explaining myself.  She did not rush through the appointment nor made me feel like I should rush through it.  She had a good bed side manner and she advised me of some health changes and the importance of the changes. Looking forward to the next visit.

Dr Davis was thorough with checking me out, she listened to all my complaints and made suitable suggestions. She was very unlike another doctor at the facility who quickly dismissed my concerns/complaints.

I'm always nervous about finding a good PCP, but I was thrilled with Dr. Davis. As someone who is new to DC, she made me feel completely at ease, listened to me without judgement, and provided me with all the referrals I needed. Dr. Davis and her staff were awesome.  It was really hard trying to find a new PCP, so I arrived praying that the appointment would go well.  It exceeded my expectations.  Dr. Davis was so patient and her spirit was calming even.  She took her time - I never felt rushed.  She asked questions and really gave me the space to think about them.  Her staff handled some administrative issues that I was having with a specialist's office - one less thing for me to worry about.  

Very disappointing--and this has happened on previous ocassions/ This is the WORST because I have major surgery pending but need her to sign off as Primary Doctor. I am in an awful, frightful situaton--and she as not helpful in her guidance, explanations--but has a way of BERATING the patient on all sorts of levels. 

I think Dr. Davis is great. She is so nice and is a great listener. I just had my annual physical with her and she carefully explained all my lab results, asked extensive questions about my family history, my current health habits, asked multiple times if I had any concerns I wanted to address with her, and went over my prescription drugs. I would highly recommend her--I've never felt rushed while having an MD appointment. 

Would’ve given zero stars if possible. Worst Doctor I have ever had. Please go elsewhere.

I was willing to write off a previous bad experience with Dr. Davis, her and the offices inability to refill a longstanding prescription is inexcusable! My pharmacy tried contacting them everyday for 7 STRAIGHT DAYS to refill a long standing antidepressant prescription to no avail. I resorted to calling them twice in one day to implore them to refill the prescription because of the 'withdrawal' effects if stopped cold. 3 days later and still nothing. THIS IS NEGLIGENT & IRRESPONSIBLE. No excuse!

Dr Davis is very comfortable to be treated by.  She's kind and thorough.
